PMI UK’s Synergy event has always been special and this year is no exception. We have the usual line up of world-class speakers (see below) and the amazing continued support of our sponsors, but this year there is another reason why Synergy continues to demonstrate some of PMI's strongest values. Thanks to the great work of one of the PMI volunteers, Dave Bewick, and the phenomenal success of Dave's first event held in Sunderland earlier this year we are delighted to introduce Synergy's sister event PMI Synergy - North.

Synergy was created primarily to celebrate the project management profession with values of inclusivity and affordability, and nowhere has demonstrated these values better than recent PMI events that have brought together local universities, local business in the guise of Enactus sponsors, The North East Chamber of Commerce, The Manufacturing Alliance and The North East Automotive Alliance to name but a few, along with PMI and APM members – in fact the WHOLE project management community.

The theme of both this years event’s will be the PMI talent triangle, and we will explore all aspects project management.

We have listened to past feedback and this year there will be a greater focus on core project management content although we will retain the unique approach to ‘edutainment’ only found at Synergy. Speakers are once again varied, and all share a passion for project management. This year, we are delighted to announce that, among others, we will be joined by Jim Snyder PMI member #2 and founder of PMI, as well as Prof. Steve Edwards, author of The Chimp Paradox and elite sports psychologist to the British Cycling Team.

This year Synergy truly is an event not be missed and we very much hope to see as many of you as possible at one, or preferably both of this year’s Synergy events! Further information on how to register for both events is available here: https://pmi.org.uk/index.php/synergy-2015
